Public Use Computing Computing services are available in the following areas and may provide access to the USF Libraries Databases, the Internet, and network printing: WebExpress and Library Catalog Access Computers- Three (3) WebExpress terminals for quick catalog and web browsing are located on the 1 st floor in the north reference area. Eight (8) computers are located within the library stacks on all floors to allow quick access to the online USF Libraries Online Catalog to look up books. All stack and WebExpress computers are restricted to USF-based web sites and the USF online catalog. online databases may not be available from these machines. Non-USF Computers- Available in the north reference area are two (2) Non-USF patron use computers with internet and library catalog access. The Poynter Library provides public access computers to use the Internet or the library’s electronic resources for research purposes only. Visitors must sign in at the reference desk on the 1 st floor and will be assigned a computer. Visitors may be limited to a maximum of two 30-minute sessions per day. Photo identification may be required. USF Affiliated User Computers- Three (3) computers have been reserved in the north reference area for use by USF affiliated organizations.The following affiliated groups may use the research computers; a photo ID showing affiliation may be required prior to use:
