This appointment includes the responsibilities of maintaining the Oral History of Modern America collection, other primary source collections in this department, the USF St. Petersburg archives, library exhibits, and other cultural and historical treasures. Also offer reference service, bibliographic instruction, and act as a faculty liaison for the collection areas of history and political science. I served as College University Center Coordinator in the Program for Experienced Learners, an innovative baccalaureate degree program for students over twenty-five years of age at Eckerd College, a private liberal arts college in St. Petersburg. Oversaw Eckerd College course offerings at the College University Center on SPC's Seminole Campus, as well as at the Largo Center (Electronic Commerce Resource Center), and an in-house program offered by Eckerd College at the Tech Data Corporation in Clearwater. Major responsibilities included program oversight and marketing, offering admissions interviews and evaluating transfer credits, developing degree plans and assessing possibilities for experiential academic credit, providing instructional support and offering workshops in areas such as technology and library proficiency, and acting as a liaison between potential students, students, faculty, staff, and other partnering colleges and universities.
