This large multidisciplinary database includes full-text for approximately 4,500 journals, including more than 3,600 peer-reviewed publications. Searchable cited references are also included for 1,000 titles.

A vast resource for full text articles from local, regional, national, and international news sources. Choose a location from the map that appears on the initial search page. Narrow the geographic area down to a region, country, state, or to a specific publication. Multiple publications may be searched at once.

American and French Research on the Treasury of the French Language Project: full-text access to french writings. Coverage dates back to the 13th century.
Art & Humanities Search
This resource provides indexing to more than 1300 arts and humanities journals. This is the electronic equivalent of the Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Because of their indexing process, a keyword search is usually more useful than a subject search in this database.
Chicano Database
An index to Mexican-American topics dating back to the 1960s, this resource also includes the Spanish Speaking Mental Health Database.
Ethnic NewsWatch
Balanced research techniques consider multiple viewpoints and this database can help provide that balance. Full-text access is included for articles from more than 200 minority press journals dating back to 1990.

This multi-disciplinary database provides straight-forward searching. Topics may easily be limited to full-text and to refereed (peer-reviewed) journals.

Provides indexing to more than 4200 journals in the humanities and social sciences. In addition, Francis covers relevant books, book chapters, conference papers, and exhibition catalogs. One of the strengths of this database is its coverage of art history.

Considered one of the foremost resources for updates on political and economic developments in Latin America and the Caribbean. The USF Libraries subscription includes access to the Latin American Weekly Report and Latin American Regional Reports. Provides very current, full-text news resources.
LexisNexis Academic
Lexis Nexis is a standard database for business, news, and legal research. To locate international news, start at the initial search page and select “News” from tabs at the top of the search screen. At the next screen, use the "select sources" pull-down menu to choose a geographic area or publication. LexisNexis is updated daily but is so comprehensive that your search may result in too many hits—be as specific as possible when composing your search strategy.

Directory of Open Access Journals
Provides full-text access to free scientific and scholarly journals. More than 2500 journal titles are included in this resource with approximately 750 of them searchable at the article level.
JSTOR
This unique resource was created to provide searchable, full-text access to the older editions of a vast number of scholarly journals. Coverage goes back to volume one of the journal but does not include the most recent few years of the title. A wide selection of disciplines are included. Note particularly the sections on Latin American studies and Languages & Literature.
