ERIC (Cambridge Scientific Abstracts). 1967 to date.

Probably the foremost index in education, ERIC is actually two separate indexing/abstracting services: CIJE (citations and summaries of journal articles) and RIE (citations and summaries for the ERIC document collection).

Multicultural Pavilion.

Created in 1995 by a group from the University of Virginia, this web site attempts to provide an online forum as well as resources for the discussion and implementation of multicultural classroom experiences.

WilsonOmniFile Full-Text. 1994 to date. WilsonWeb

This database delivers full-text articles online selected from six indexes published by the H. W. Wilson Company: Readers’ Guide, Humanities, Social Sciences, General Science, Education, and Business. Since a good many of the most popular education journals are indexed in one or more of these indexes, WilsonOmniFile is a good source for educational subjects. Indexing goes back to 1982; however, full-text coverage begins in 1994.
