implications. It should be noted that the editors
advise using the online version, since it contains many
thousands of abstracts that were never published in the
print edition.

Covers such subjects as criminal justice, juvenile delinquency, juvenile justice, corrections, penology, policing, forensic psychology, and family and domestic violence. The searchable database consists of bibliographic records (indexed summaries or abstracts) and full-text.

Congressional Quarterly reporters provide real-time daily news and analysis on the latest homeland security spending and policy issues, incorporates legislative tracking to follow homeland security legislation through bill language, committee reports, transcripts, testimony, and the Federal Register.

NCJRS is an international clearinghouse of information about
criminal justice and law enforcement sponsored by the National
Institute of Justice, a division of the U.S. Department
of Justice. About half the material is from government
documents and reports, while a third represents journal
articles. Poynter Library has the full-text microfiche
collection (up to 1989 only) to many of the items in the
NCJRS index.
