Circulation Overview

A main component of Access Services, the Circulation department sets circulation policy and handles the physical borrowing of items within the library. The circulation area, located on the first floor of the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library, contains the in-house reserves collection, as well as laptops and thumb drives.Hours of operation are found on the Hours Page. The circulation desk closes ten minutes before the building closes.

The Circulation department can be contacted via phone at (727) 873-4405, or by emailing circulation@nelson.usf.edu. If you would like to renew library materials, you may do so online through the Online Renewal Service.

All circulating materials, Reserve items, and study rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. No holds can be placed on study room keys or Reserve materials.
